Art, love and life: Ethel Carrick and E Phillips Fox
This is the title of the exhibition we saw.
I wasn't so keen to see this one as I didn't particulary like the style of paintings and had never heard about the artists.
But it is always good to see real paintings. Their oil paintings looked far better than the ones of the brochures.
It was also interesting to see how husband and wife paint the same scenes in different manners.
12AUD to see this exhibition sounds bit expensive but it was worth the money for us.
Queensland art galleryで行われている展覧会へ行ってきました。
名前も聞いたことがないし、特に好きなスタイルの絵画でもないので、乗り気ではなかったのですが、ほかにすることもなかったので。
でも案外楽しめました。油絵はやっぱり実物でみないと良さがわからない。しばらく油絵を見てなかったので、そんなことを改めて感じました。
入場料に12ドル！日本なら有名なアーティストの展覧会が見れそうだけど、ここはオーストラリア。
でも12ドルの価値はあったと思います。
